HEY HEY.

KCCO EOY CampHope that
KCCO TBY is more bonded now, everyone had fun and that everyone made at least 2 or 3 new friends during camp. I know not everyone likes the long hours of practices cuz this is a
CAMP, not some practice but ya, you all have to realise that we are different from other COs now. We have a Concert in just one week and this is our 1st Concert. I'm sure none of you want to embarrass yourselves on the stage and cry backstage cuz you're not prepared or anything. If we're really prepared for the Concert, we don't really have to worry about getting stage fright or anything. Just concentrate on the song and play with your erm... heart or something.
You don't want to let down the WHOLE KCCO just because you couldn't play on stage and just stare blankly or something.
NOW, a few more points:
Please be reminded that there will be an extra practice (not on the paper) on Tuesday, 2 November from 1pm to 4pm. Please remember to come earlier and prepare your instruments and tune them, thankyou.
Btw, the zhongruans need to keep their chairs and tables after every practice. We can't keep them for you all everytime, so please take note and don't just leave after greeting Mr Goh.
YA, okay, we MIGHT have another extra TBY practice for next week so we will tell you all
ASAP. Those who can make it, please come since the Concert is just 1 week away from now. Those who can't are required to give a valid reason.
ALSO, please be in the full CO uniform, the one we wore for Photo-taking for the
3rd, 5th and 6th November.
I know we already have like 12 hours of practice for next week, but then please complain. 12 hours is only like half of one day. Besides, we just have to
CHIONG one more week before the big thing and we can concentrate on
FNJ and
Song of Cicada.
So yup, try to be early to prepare all the instruments and tune them, so that we can start on time and we have more time to practice.

I believe each and every one of you can actually play properly, WITH TAIFENG, if you try hard enough. For the last week before the Concert, please plaease please don't pon any of the practices except you have a very VALID reason. Ya, its like just one more week before the Concert so we just practice like hell for it lar.
At least show that KCCO can do it and we DID try our best to do it. Don't let other people have the mental image in their minds, that KCCO is just of THIS standard.
Yup, for the Concert too right, try to play with TAIFENG, at least a little if possible. It will be quite a good chance for us to practice before SYF'09.
So ya, thats all I want to say.
KCCO TBY, its just one more week. I believe all of us can do it and bring KCCO to greater heights!

[If you all feel that I talk a lot and I shouldn't be, then I'm sorry, but then I just didn't want KCCO TBY to lose face at a PUBLIC CONCERT with even strangers we don't know. They can just criticise us with our playing. Yup. ]

Hey:D
Pls be reminded that we`ll be having a small sectional practice for plucking outside co rm at 9am sharp on 19 of nov, wed. As you all know, there`s sectionals in the afternoon from 2.00-5.00pm so please try to be early for the early session, so that we won`t waste time uncessarily.
Another thing, please prepare and practice at home first before coming. We won`t want to waste time correcting you all and waste time practicing on the spot. We will be going through all our concert pieces, fnj, chan ge and probably choosing we song we want to play for camp's guan mo hui.
Just to let the juniors know. Guan mo hui is like a mini concert we have annually but its in the school hall, with only the instructors, teachers, alumni and the other sections as our audience.
We will play section by section and through this guan mo hui, we`ll prove to them our skills and what we`ve got as a whole plucking section. :D
Its quite fun, fyi so enjoy it during camp ba:D

HEYS!
First of all, lets give Huiyi an applause! *wooo!*claps.
Thanks to huiyi, our plucking blog has become nicer, as in the blogskin :D
And, yes. Pls take note what Huiyi had mentioned. i saw
the juniors and the seniors keeping their own tables and chairs after sectionals yesterday.
Good yea? Must try to help the SLs by keeping your own table and chair because we have to run
up and down and keep our own instruments too.
Haha:D
Combine wasn`t that bad yea? But we believe that you all can do better:D
Didn`t we received our syf set piece yesterday?
Well, although we must focus on our concert songs now but we should start practicing
it now. As all of you know, the scores for plucking is harder than other sections*ahem
ESPECIALLY YANGQIN. ( huiyi, see?)
So, all the more we should start practicing earlier so that we would be ready when we go
through during combine:D
Mr goh frowns every now and then because he's super worried about us.
So please, don`t make him worry yea?Coz he's our instructor too.
He's trying very hard to make everything perfect but we aren`t really trying.
And yes, those who have not sold their tickets yet, please start now ok?
If you have any difficulties selling it, pls don`t hestitate to tell us coz we`ll try to help you.

Hello Hello!
Haha, I know this blog's dead for very long but I guess all the SLs are quite busy so forgive us for not being to update it. :D
Anw, a few things to note:
1) Please keep your own stands, tables and chairs after every CO practice, combined or sectionals. The SLs can't always help you all keep them cuz we have our own to keep too. For sectionals, please move all the chairs and tables back to their original positions before leaving the classrooms.
2) Please please please remember to practice at home so that you won't forgot what you have learnt during that practice.
3) Try to pay more attention to Mr Goh during combined so that you will know when you are supposed to come in. Like what he said, there's not point looking at the
pu, since the notes on it will never change. I believe, that after playing the songs for quite a long period of time, you all would have somehow memorised a bit of your songs. So, try to look at Mr Goh when playing.
4) Please do not be late for any practice. FLS already said for the holidays, we must be seated in the gym with your instruments ready, by
8.45. If not, she'll probably punish you all. And if we are early for practice, that means we have a longer time to practice.
Okay, after talking so much, please rmb that the EOY Concert is our first concert in 8 years and is very important to us. So please please practice hard, okay? We want our first concert o be successful, okay? In order to succeed, we need each and everyone of your cooperation since all of you will be the key factor to our success. If I seem like I'm scolding or nagging at you, when I shouldn't be, then I'm sorry. But still, please remember to practice hard and brush up on all your songs. Thank you.
